
When animal-phobic teenager Dougie Dolittle has a chance meeting with Polly, the family’s long-lost parrot, she unlocks his innate talent: Dougie can talk to and understand animals! Finding this gift more like a curse, Dougie must learn to overcome his fears in order to help his newfound animal friends take down the unscrupulous pet food company Kingcorps, save the town from rampaging giant zoo animals, and ultimately accept his legacy.
