A young, vivacious flamingo must overcome personal loss and learn to dance once more. In doing so she rekindles her inner flame and inspires her flock to take back their future.
Once a year, the flamingos of the Fuente de Piedra lagoon in Spain perform a dance that looks like…flamenco! But when the flock is attacked by hateful podencos (wild hunting dogs) our young hero Rosie loses her mother and the flamingo flamenco is cancelled henceforth. She grows up a shadow of her former self, robbed of the love of her mother and the joy of dance. Then one day she meets an exuberant dance crazy lizard by the name of Carlos who encourages her to dance again, rekindling her inner flame. In the course of the story she regains her confidence, finds her feet and leads her flock to face down the podencos and dance once more.
