Iloka, the peaceful island in the South Seas is being afflicted by pirates who are on their quest of a lost statue of immense value. Yet, a hex has been put on this statue, which might destroy the paradise island. Flipper and Lopaka have to prevent this, so an adventuresome journey into the dangerous depths of the ocean begins…
Somewhere in the South Seas there is the peaceful little island Iloka. It is occupied by friendly people and it is ruled by the good chief Kapuna, whose son Lopaka has the ability to talk to the creatures of the sea. Lopaka is friends with many fish and other animals and his best friend is a dolphin named Flipper.
While the inhabitants of the island are celebrating their annual Iloka Day, a ship appears at the horizon. The strangers who are heading towards the island turn out to be a documentary film crew, at least that’s what they pretend to be. In fact, they are real pirates, who are on their quest of a statue of immense value, which is said to possess magical powers, since the pitchfork of the God Neptun is worked into it. It is an artefact, which was sacrificed by the ancestors of the Ilokians in order to tame fierce sea monsters.
